Yesterday, Titan held it’s 5th installment of the Trial Runs, in partnership with Nike PH, to try out the Zoom Kyrie 1. It’s probably the best Trial Runs setup so far as we, the media guys, got to experience the shoe first hand with the Nike PBA athletes as well as the Titan DVT Flow team. Coach Jeff Cariaso had us go through a series of drills, one on one plays, five on five, and an all-media scrimmage, all focused on bringing out the features of the shoe that’s tailor made for Kyrie’s game. The Kyrie 1 was built to deliver 3 primary benefits: pinpoint responsiveness, dynamic support, and superb traction. After 2 hours of going through specific drills, I feel like they do get the job done.
