Sustaining the energy of the OMN1S launch, New Balance releases the “Inspire the Dream” collection. This pack was inspired by Kawhi’s personal story and basketball journey, which began during his days spent at Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, California. Kawhi was a hidden gem that changed the game and culture through his perseverance, talent, and passion. He built a name for himself and paved his way to success instead of just dreaming about it.
The colors were inspired by Kawhi’s high school where he was first recognized as a top contender in Los Angeles. His next chapter starts now by returning to his hometown to “reign over LA” – a move that symbolizes his fearless independence and determination to carve out his own path.
Paying homage to Kawhi’s roots and to Black History Month, the collection recognizes and celebrates the achievements of individuals in sport & culture that are changing the game on their own terms.
Part of the pack features other silhouettes like the 574, 997S and 850.
The Inspire the Dream collection drops February 8 at select New Balance Stores (Glorietta, Trinoma, BGC) and Titan online.
