Now that’s how you win an NCAA Championship! The Villanova Wildcats won the game at the buzzer in one of the best championship games and endings ever in NCAA history.
Nike congratulates the Villanova University men’s basketball team, led by coach Jay Wright, on its second national championship — and first since 1985. Villanova defeated the University of North Carolina 77-74 to finish the season 35-5, while becoming the 16th NIKE, Inc.-sponsored NCAA Division 1 men’s basketball champion in the last 20 years.
