With Chinese New Year still a month away, adidas has wasted little time in prepping for this event with the release of the Drose 6 and JWall 2 ‘Year of the Monkey’ Collection. In welcoming the Year of the Monkey, the Drose 6 features a fire red graphic printed on black to reveal the aggressive nature of the “Fire Monkey.” The upper is contrasted by blue accents along the tongue, webbing straps and clear outsole, while gold hits on the eyelets, signature D Rose details and adidas badging celebrate the start of the New Year. A custom D Rose graphic is also featured on the back of the tongue.
The JWall 2 follows a similar look with navy uppers and monkey graphics outlined in light blue. Hints of red are seen along the branding on the midfoot, heel, tongue and outsole. Recently, John Wall has been seen wearing a different brand on court with his much talked about expiring contract with adidas, but we should still be seeing a few more pairs of the JWall 2 until that contract officially ends.
The Drose 6 retails for P8,495 and JWall 2 P6,495. Both are now available at Titan stores.
