Premier basketball concept shop Titan is on its 6th year, and to celebrate, they are releasing their first ever sneaker collaboration with footwear brand, BrandBlack, to produce the J.Crossover 3 ‘Mr. Mayhem’.
The Brandblack x Titan J.Crossover 3 ‘Mr. Mayhem’ is inspired by a cult cable television series that chronicles the life and times of an outlaw motorcycle club and our collective fascination with the parallels of the inevitable brotherhood born from a shared passion.
The design and details on the shoe draw inspiration from the iconic motorcycle that belonged to the founder of the show’s fictional MC. The shroud comes in a teal finish which is reminiscent of the shade of the bike’s fenders and gas tank, while hints of chrome on the mesh uppers allude to its metallic chrome accents. Patent leather is seen on the heel counter, collar, and the flip side of the shroud, inspired by the plush leather seat of the bike. More details are seen throughout the shoe with Titan’s logo tongue of the left, a crest on the sockliner, the Titan mascot inside the shroud, and a reaper-like graphic printed inside the translucent outsole. The words ‘Lightning strikes’ can also be seen on the heel area of the shroud.
Limited to 366 pairs only, the Titan x Brandblack J.Crossover 3 ‘Mr. Mayhem’ will release exclusively at Titan Fort on August 25, 2016 at 6PM, with a wider release across all Titan shops and www.titan22.com on Saturday, August 27,2016
A special Friends and Family ‘Contraband’ pack (limited to 9 cases only) will also be made available to the public. This includes a custom woodbox packaging, signet brass ring, biker patches, and tee.
The Titan x BrandBlack J.Crossover 3 ‘Mr. Mayhem’ will retail for P7,995, while the Contraband pack will be sold for P22,995.
