Asics has been big with the collabs this year, with another one dropping tomorrow, May 21. This time around we take a look at another collaboration featuring UK based Offspring with a new take on the Gel Lyte V in celebration of their 20th Anniversary.
The Gel Lyte V comes in a beige suede and nubuck upper, a nod to the cobble stone streets and piazza where Offspring put up their first store. Mint green covers the inner lining, part of the heel, and branding on the tongue which reflects the brands original color theme back in 1996. More details are seen on the graphic insole with the Japanese symbol ‘=+’ which means 20, while an off-white midsole adds contrast to the overall design.
The Offspring x Asics Gel lyte V will be available tomorrow, May 21, at Shoe Salon Trinoma and Glorietta 3 for P8,000.
