That’s right, back in 1985 in an exhibition game in Italy, MJ threw down a dunk on the break and broke the backboard. Today, Nike honors that event with the release of the Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ that features a black, orange and white theme, just like the colors of the uniform he wore that day. Premium leather hits the upper and a graphic insole shows pieces of that shattered backboard. The Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ releases today at Titan via special lottery. Some pairs might still be up for grabs after but you have to be quick.
