New Balance GRND Meet and Greet

New Balance taps into their NB Numeric skate line for this latest event.

Happening on July 12-13, 2019 is the first ever Asia Specific Skate Tour. A select few from the NB Numeric riders will be visiting Manila, Philippines: Jamie Foy (USA), Margielyn Didal (PH), Franky Villani (USA), Jeff Gonzales (PH), Demit Cuevas (PH), Mak Feliciano (PH), and Sanggoe Dharma (Indonesia) (on the 13th only). Fans will get the chance to meet these skaters during the meet and greet to be held on the 12th at New Balance Trinoma (1:30- 2:30PM) and Grind UP Town Center (3:30-4:30PM).

The tour also marks the release of the much-awaited Numeric footwear in the Philippines. The NM306, which is Jamie Foy’s first signature pro shoe, will debut during the meet and greet on July 12. Named as the 2018 Skater of the Year, Jamie has collaborated with Numeric to create a shoe that’s built to last during intense skate sessions. The 306 features a low profile with a suede mesh upper, a vulcanized outsole for board feel, and a custom EVA insole for comfort. This will be priced at PHP 4,995 and will come in two colorways: black and white, and dark green and red. Other Numeric models to be released are the NM255 (PHP 4,295) and NM212 (PHP 4,295).

Day 2 of the tour takes fans to the International Skate Day to be held at Backyard Skatepark at Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The Numeric riders will have a demonstration of their best moves starting at 2PM. The tour will then continue at Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan. This is truly an exciting event that is sure to spark the passion for skate among the local communities.

The NM 306 (PHP 4,995) and NM 212 (P 4,295) will be available at New Balance Trinoma and Grind UP Town Center on July 12, 2019.
